The Romanian Association of Research Managers and Administrators
(RARMA) has been founded on September 2002 .in Bucharest.
It has as a main purpose " to promote effectiveness of Romanian Research and
Technology Development (RTD)" and thereby to improve the quality and
competitiveness of Romanian RTD in the European and global context.
RARMA will focus its efforts on the improvement of the function of research
management and administration, and thereby, the excellence and competitiveness of
Romanian RTD in general, by:
The development and dissemination of best methods and practices in the field; Promoting innovation in research management and administration; Developing the interface between science and its specific management; Promoting the interests of the scientific community in the relation with the research policy decision makers and the financing organisms; Assisting the research community members and organizations in their efforts to valorize the intellectual property rights on their research results.
RARMA is open to all individuals and organizations from the public and private
sector interested in RTD management and administration, under the conditions
stipulated in its Statute.
